Appearance
The Sun & Shade Squidkids IV are yellow athletic shoes with navy above the toes, along the front, on the tongue, and on the heel. The laces are navy as well, and on the tongue is the [[File:Enperry_Brand_{{{2}}}.png|24px|{{{2}}}|link=SquidForce]] [[{{{2}}}|{{{2}}}]] logo in black.

Abilities
The Sun & Shade Squidkid IV come with Cold-Blooded as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch. When purchased from SplatNet 2, they come with any other primary ability normally available to Shoes. As a 3-star item, the Sun & Shade Squidkid IV come with three additional slots for secondary abilities. Since they are made by the Enperry gear brand, they have a higher chance of rolling Sub Power Up and a lower chance of rolling Ink Resistance Up to fill their secondary ability slots.
