Glooga Dualies
|
I've always been a Dualie lover, but I actually did not like Gloogas at the beginning of my Splatoon experience. I fell in love for them thanks to Ink from Above Station from the Octo Expansion.
I've recently decided to learn using them and I had to admit that their power is amazing, despite having a terrible aim! Their sets are pretty good too.
Glooga Dualies are certainly one of my favorite weapons, and one of the weapons I've splatted the most with.

.52 Gal
|
I have become good with the .96 Gal, so I said to myself: "It's time to give the .52 another chance!". Yes, for a little time, I used the .52 Gal, but I got tired of it quickly because of its low accuracy. Now that I'm good with its slower, less precise cousin, I've started to use it and I've become really good with it too: it currently holds the record for the weapon I've made the most kills with: 26! I'm quite proud of it.

I've recently started to use this weapon, and I'm already pretty good with it. Its not-always-accurate aim can really drive me crazy, but its incredible power and long range are fantastic. I've reached my record of 26 kills with this weapon as well. I actually don't know why I've learned to use it just right before Splatoon 3 comes out...

Explosher
|
I liked this weapon since it was added to the game. It seemed unusual and I wanted to try it. I think it's one of the hardest weapons to use in the game, so I'm very happy because I'm learning to use it properly even when engaging a close-range combat (but if I meet an Explosher player in battle, he/she always destroys me!).

Nautilus
|
I wasn't really a Splatling guy, but the Nautilus, with its innovative functions, really changed my mind. I love its charge-storing because I can furtively assault my opponents; the design is FANTASTIC and the secondary weapons sets of both the variants are quite good (47's set is better though).

Splat Dualies
|
Splat Dualies always felt really cool and, when I developed an aggressive playstyle, they became even more better. Splat Dualies are just made for combat: balanced, interesting and with amazing design and sets. Their range is the only problem, but with the help of dodge rolls I still can splat enemies far from me.
It's true that I've recently started to play with a lot of weapons, but "vanilla" Splat Dualies are always the best (yeah, pretty nostalgic).

E-liter 4K
|
In almost my whole Splatoon 2 experience, I had been a TERRIBLE sniper. When my friends invited me to a "Sniper party" in private battle, I always sucked and I loved to cheat by secretly using dualies (and my friends still splatted me mercilessly). Not a long time ago, I've decided to become good with a charger, and I chose the E-liter. I played more than a week using ONLY this weapon and, finally, I'm becoming good with it! I hope it will remain in Splatoon 3 without being changed like the E-liter 3K from Splatoon.

Splat Roller
|
Believe it or not: I've just started to really use the Splat Roller. I never thought it as a bad weapon, but I just HATED both the classic and the Krak-On's secondary weapons sets (especially the subs). Kensa Splat Roller permitted me to finally start using this weapon, because Splat Bombs and Bubble Blower are perfect, in my opinion, for the roller.

Tetra Dualies
|
It took me a lot to learn to use this Dualie-class weapon. In fact, I did not find myself comfortable with the 4-dodge rolls system; I had to become better at aiming toward the opponents, and I had to sacrifice the use of the sub weapon (Autobombs are awful, in my opinion).
With the Light Tetra Dualies, instead, I've discovered that Sprinklers are USEFUL! Yeah, I usually throw them against the enemies to confuse and stain them before attacking with the pistols themselves.

Ballpoint Splatling
|
Although it has been nerfed so bad, I've recently discovered that the Ballpoint is still very fun to use and actually more powerful than I remembered. I cannot use its sub weapon, I have to admit it, but I actually find myself comfortable with its special, which usually puts me in discomfort because I don't like to combine it with my main weapons.

Slosher

Two words: Buckets. Of. Ink. (Dammit! They are three!)
Ok, jokes aside, the Slosher is so fun to use and so powerful! I've trained very hard to become good with it, and with its set I've started to like Tenta Missiles.

Sloshing Machine
|
Sloshing Machine has got a good attack power and its shooting style, quite different from the other Sloshers, fits with my playstyle better. Its set is really good combined with the main weapon and I'm surprisingly good (or lucky) to splat more opponents at once with it.

Inkbrush

Another strange story: I couldn't stand this weapon! I didn't like it because I thought it was useless and just for a disturbing effect (what a foolish thought). Then, one day, in a match of Splat Zones, I've decided to try it and... Now I cannot do without it!
It lacks range, but it's super quick and so satisfying to use against opponents! Its variants' sets are really good (especially vanilla and Permanent).

Jet Squelcher

I always thought it as an interesting weapon, but I couldn't use it because of my aim problems. Since I've become good with the E-liter, I've also started using the Squelcher quite well. It is the best when you want to get rid of your enemies without getting close to them! It fits with my playstyle.

Splattershot Jr.
|
Basic weapon? Absolutely not! In fact, using the Splattershot Jr. is a great challenge for me! Why? Because I love it, but it has got a short range and a bad aim, so splatting the opponents (which is always my main objective in the matches) is very fun and a little difficult too. Why do I absolutely love its Kensa variant? Because it's Toni Kensa, easy. Just kidding (partly): actually, Kensa Splattershot Jr. is one of the few sets that I can use entirely; I often spot enemies thanks to Torpedoes and I became quite good with the Bubble Blower thanks to this weapon.

Of course, there is a place in my arsenal for the undisputed king of all the Turf Wars.
I always loved this weapon because it's so classic, so balanced, that can be your best ally and your worst opponent in a battle.
