The Musselforge Flip-Flops are a pair of shoes in the Splatoon series.

They are a 1-star item produced by Inkline and come with the primary ability Ink Saver (Sub). They can be purchased from Shella Fresh for Cash 280 or from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for Cash 700.

Appearance

The Musselforge Flip-Flops are blue thonged flip-flops with a blue-on-yellow clam pattern on top of the sole. If observed upside down, the pattern looks like Mt. Fuji.

Abilities

The Musselforge Flip-Flops come with Ink Saver (Sub) as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch. When purchased from SplatNet 2, they come with any other primary ability normally available to Shoes. As a 1-star item, the Musselforge Flip-Flops come with one additional slot for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail for each slot. Since they are made by the Inkline gear brand, they have a higher chance of rolling Bomb Defense Up DX and a lower chance of rolling Main Power Up to fill their secondary ability slot.

Translation notes

  1. German name for Musselforge Fitness
  2. The word "кревед" "kreved" comes from a Russian meme phrase "Превед, медвед, йа криветко!" which is a very corrupted and ungrammatical way of saying "Hello, bear, I'm shrimp!". In this case, the word "кревед" is a fusion of the words "превед" "preved" (hello) and "креветка" "krevetka" (shrimp).
