Nessie vs. Aliens vs. Bigfoot is an upcoming Splatfest event in Splatoon 3. It is the first Splatfest to take place during Fresh Season 2023. It was announced on social networks on 16 March 2023. It is also the first Splatfest to happen in Inkopolis Plaza in-game since Splatoon with the release of Splatoon 3: Expansion Pass.

Details

The Tricolor Turf War stage for this Splatfest will be MakoMart.

• In the announcement dialogue, Frye references The Crater and the Octobot King L3.Gs, suggesting this Splatfest takes place after the events of Return of the Mammalians.
  • Additionally the long, thin creature "slithering out from the water" that Shiver mentions is likely a Horrorboros.
    • Big Man's dialogue about a furry footprint in the snow could be a reference to the Fuzzy Octarians or Mr. Grizz in Alterna (where fake snow is consistently present).
• Deep Cut’s announcement dialogue suggests that none of them have proof for the teams they represent (Shiver telling herself she didn’t actually see Nessie, Frye referring to the Octobot King L3.Gs as a UFO, and Big Man noticing a fuzzy footprint, which is impossible in a marine-life society).
