Hey there users and visitors of Inkipedia! I'm PrinceRatio, nice to meet you all!

Something about me

First of all, I'm a super fan of Splatoon since I've started playing the second title of the series, and I've always loved this wiki because it's the best game encyclopedia I've ever seen. Finally, I've decided to become a member! ^^ Maybe I'll contribute to improve it when Splatoon 3 will come out and there will be more pages to make.

I'm also a poster maker on Source Filmmaker: if you continue to read my page, you'll see some of my renders for my character!

My playstyle

Since I've started playing more seriously, in half 2022, I've developed an extremely aggressive playstyle: rather than carrying the objectives, like taking the Rainmaker or riding the Tower, I prefer to assault my opponents to clear the way for my allies. I mostly use weapons that allow me to engage close combat with the enemy team, and my main goal is to score the most kills possible. However, I don't always play aggressively: I often use long-range weapons, like the E-liter 4K, which I use to provide support to my teammates, and sometimes I prefer to be an actual target for my enemies to distract them and give my teammates the occasion to strike without troubles.

Character outfit (Splatoon 2)

Picture (made with SFM) Name Description
File:User-PrinceRatio character.png Battle Outfit When I just want to splat everyone with the best weapons, I go with this outfit.

This will probably be Splatoon 2 exclusive, because I don't think Octo Expansion gear will make it in Splatoon 3 :(

File:Prince Eye of Justice.png Eye of Justice Strange story: during the Splatocalypse, I played for the Chaos team, but now I regret it and I would choose Order if I could... and this is my Order variant of the Battle outfit.

Unfortunately, this outfit will be a Splatoon 2-only set too, because none of these pieces of gear will make it in Splatoon 3, especially the Eye of Justice (which is super cool in my opinion).

File:Prince casual.png Casual outfit A combination of three black pieces of gear, which I always liked very much but couldn't match with other gear before I came up with the idea of this outfit. I will probably have to change the headgear in Splatoon 3 :(

Mostly used with Toni Kensa weapons.

File:Prince urban.png Casual outfit - Urban variant Another simple casual outfit I've recently started to use. Hopefully I'll reuse it in Splatoon 3!

Weapons used (Splatoon 2)

Weapon Why I use it / Useless backstories because why not? Playstyle Favorite variant
S2 Weapon Main Glooga Dualies.pngGlooga Dualies I've always been a Dualie lover, but I actually did not like Gloogas at the beginning of my Splatoon experience. I fell in love for them thanks to Ink from Above Station from the Octo Expansion.

I've recently decided to learn using them and I had to admit that their power is amazing, despite having a terrible aim! Their sets are pretty good too.

Glooga Dualies are certainly one of my favorite weapons, and one of the weapons I've splatted the most with.

Aggressive S2 Weapon Main Kensa Glooga Dualies.pngKensa Glooga Dualies
S2 Weapon Main .52 Gal.png.52 Gal I have become good with the .96 Gal, so I said to myself: "It's time to give the .52 another chance!". Yes, for a little time, I used the .52 Gal, but I got tired of it quickly because of its low accuracy. Now that I'm good with its slower, less precise cousin, I've started to use it and I've become really good with it too: it currently holds the record for the weapon I've made the most kills with in Splatoon 2: 26! I'm quite proud of it. Aggressive S2 Weapon Main .52 Gal.png.52 Gal
S2 Weapon Main .96 Gal.png.96 Gal I've recently started to use this weapon, and I'm already pretty good with it. Its not-always-accurate aim can really drive me crazy, but its incredible power and long range are fantastic. I've reached my record of 26 kills with this weapon as well. I actually don't know why I've learned to use it just right before Splatoon 3 comes out... Aggressive S2 Weapon Main .96 Gal.png.96 Gal
S2 Weapon Main Explosher.pngExplosher I liked this weapon since it was added to the game. It seemed unusual and I wanted to try it. I think it's one of the hardest weapons to use in the game, so I'm very happy because I'm learning to use it properly even when engaging a close-range combat (but if I meet an Explosher player in battle, he/she always destroys me!). S2 Weapon Main Nautilus 47.pngNautilus I wasn't really a Splatling guy, but the Nautilus, with its innovative functions, really changed my mind. I love its charge-storing because I can furtively assault my opponents; the design is FANTASTIC and the secondary weapons sets of both the variants are quite good (47's set is better though). S2 Weapon Main Splat Dualies.pngSplat Dualies Splat Dualies always felt really cool and, when I developed an aggressive playstyle, they became even more better. Splat Dualies are just made for combat: balanced, interesting and with amazing design and sets. Their range is the only problem, but with the help of dodge rolls I still can splat enemies far from me.

It's true that I've recently started to play with a lot of weapons, but "vanilla" Splat Dualies are always the best (yeah, pretty nostalgic).

S2 Weapon Main E-liter 4K.pngE-liter 4K In almost my whole Splatoon 2 experience, I had been a TERRIBLE sniper. When my friends invited me to a "Sniper party" in private battle, I always sucked and I loved to cheat by secretly using dualies (and my friends still splatted me mercilessly). Not a long time ago, I've decided to become good with a charger, and I chose the E-liter. I played more than a week using ONLY this weapon and, finally, I'm becoming good with it! I hope it will remain in Splatoon 3 without being changed like the E-liter 3K from Splatoon. Defense

S2 Weapon Main Splat Roller.pngSplat Roller Believe it or not: I've just started to really use the Splat Roller. I never thought it as a bad weapon, but I just HATED both the classic and the Krak-On's secondary weapons sets (especially the subs). Kensa Splat Roller permitted me to finally start using this weapon, because Splat Bombs and Bubble Blower are perfect, in my opinion, for the roller. Aggressive S2 Weapon Main Kensa Splat Roller.pngKensa Splat Roller
S2 Weapon Main Dark Tetra Dualies.pngTetra Dualies It took me a lot to learn to use this Dualie-class weapon. In fact, I did not find myself comfortable with the 4-dodge rolls system; I had to become better at aiming toward the opponents, and I had to sacrifice the use of the sub weapon (Autobombs are awful, in my opinion).

With the Light Tetra Dualies, instead, I've discovered that Sprinklers are USEFUL! Yeah, I usually throw them against the enemies to confuse and stain them before attacking with the pistols themselves.

S2 Weapon Main Ballpoint Splatling.pngBallpoint Splatling Although it has been nerfed so bad, I've recently discovered that the Ballpoint is still very fun to use and actually more powerful than I remembered. I cannot use its sub weapon, I have to admit it, but I actually find myself comfortable with its special, which usually puts me in discomfort because I don't like to combine it with my main weapons. S2 Weapon Main Slosher.pngSlosher Two words: Buckets. Of. Ink. (Dammit! They are three!)

Ok, jokes aside, the Slosher is so fun to use and so powerful! I've trained very hard to become good with it, and with its set I've started to like Tenta Missiles.

Aggresive S2 Weapon Main Hero Slosher Replica.pngHero Slosher Replica
S2 Weapon Main Sloshing Machine.pngSloshing Machine Sloshing Machine has got a good attack power and its shooting style, quite different from the other Sloshers, fits with my playstyle better. Its set is really good combined with the main weapon and I'm surprisingly good (or lucky) to splat more opponents at once with it. Aggressive S2 Weapon Main Sloshing Machine.pngSloshing Machine
S2 Weapon Main Inkbrush.pngInkbrush Another strange story: I couldn't stand this weapon! I didn't like it because I thought it was useless and just for a disturbing effect (what a foolish thought). Then, one day, in a match of Splat Zones, I've decided to try it and... Now I cannot do without it!

It lacks range, but it's super quick and so satisfying to use against opponents! Its variants' sets are really good (especially vanilla and Permanent).

S2 Weapon Main Jet Squelcher.pngJet Squelcher I always thought it as an interesting weapon, but I couldn't use it because of my aim problems. Since I've become good with the E-liter, I've also started using the Squelcher quite well. It is the best when you want to get rid of your enemies without getting close to them! It fits with my playstyle. Aggressive

S2 Weapon Main Splattershot Jr..pngSplattershot Jr. Basic weapon? Absolutely not! In fact, using the Splattershot Jr. is a great challenge for me! Why? Because I love it, but it has got a short range and a bad aim, so splatting the opponents (which is always my main objective in the matches) is very fun and a little difficult too. Why do I absolutely love its Kensa variant? Because it's Toni Kensa, easy. Just kidding (partly): actually, Kensa Splattershot Jr. is one of the few sets that I can use entirely; I often spot enemies thanks to Torpedoes and I became quite good with the Bubble Blower thanks to this weapon. Aggressive S2 Weapon Main Kensa Splattershot Jr..pngKensa Splattershot Jr.
S2 Weapon Main Splattershot.pngSplattershot Of course, there is a place in my arsenal for the undisputed king of all the Turf Wars.

I always loved this weapon because it's so classic, so balanced, that can be your best ally and your worst opponent in a battle.

Weapon Why I use it / Useless backstory because why not? Playstyle Favorite variant
S3 Weapon Main Nautilus 47.pngNautilus 47 Nautilus was one of my favorite weapons in Splatoon 2 and it still holds this position in Splatoon 3! Point Sensor made its return as its sub weapon, and the addition of the Ink Storm as its special made it incredibly powerful! I still can't believe that I managed to hit my record for the most kills ever of 27 with the Nautilus! I'm so proud of it. Aggressive

S3 Weapon Main .52 Gal.png.52 Gal Since my beloved Gloogas didn't make it in the Splatoon 3's Splatfest World Premiere, I played it almost only with the .52 Gal, because it has quickly become one of my favorite weapons in the game series. I have to admit that at the beginning I wasn't happy with its new sub weapon, because I don't really like the Splash Wall. During my playtime in the Premiere, I quickly changed my mind: it's perfect for this weapon because it allows you to take your time before splatting the opponent (because the low accuracy of the weapon can leave you exposed) and I REALLY love the new special weapon, Killer Wail 5.1. Aggressive S3 Weapon Main .52 Gal.png.52 Gal
S3 Weapon Main E-liter 4K.pngE-liter 4K While playing the Splatfest Premiere, I couldn't not try the E-liter with its fresh, new design! I think the rumbling sound heard when a projectile is shot is a really satisfying add and I like the fact that Ink Mine is still its sub weapon. The special weapon, which both tracks and damages enemies, seems interesting. Defense

S3 Weapon Main Ballpoint Splatling.pngBallpoint Splatling Ballpoint Splatling regained a bit of its lost potential with a better sub weapon, the Fizzy Bomb, and kept the Jet Splat which is perfect for this weapon. It's still so fun to use and I'm already getting comfortable at sniping with it in the new stages. Aggressive

S3 Weapon Main Bloblobber.pngBloblobber Even if I've always loved this weapon because of its funny yet deadly attacks, I've only started to use in Splatoon 3! With the help of the Ink Storm, which allows me to splat opponents in collaboration with my teammates, I'm becoming quite good with the Bloblobber! I really like the way its projectiles bounce on the walls, it's pretty helpful to hit opponents in tight pathways. Aggressive
