Shouldn't the Zelda Wiki link be called Zeldapedia

Fuzzy Icon

Adding stages and Polls back

Are we going to bring back stages, polls, Splatnet 3 shop items, etc? I'm new to wikis so I'm not sure how to do this myself. Thoughts? Woomy? (talk) 23:04, 4 November 2022 (UTC)

okay so im assuming we ALL know who deadf1sh is. this is about her song, 14- crush. in the song it sounds all happy and cheerful, right? well the song has noises from what im assuming are the octarian army. this might be what she remembers from before getting sanitized because the song right after that, 16- salty, sounds terrifying. it sounds like what you would assume being sanitized would sound like. this might be me coming to conclusions but still. That sounds about right cuz Sanitization's basically like losing ur free will, so Dedf1sh must have gone through a lot of pain. The things that I'm thinking is that all the songs are from different parts of her life. the missing song numbers could of been left out cuz she can't remember what happend then. And that explains why 2 songs are missing after 14# Crush. That was when she got sanatized.

Countdown

you know how there was a countdown to the release of Splatoon 3 on the main page? what if we added a countdown to the splatfest part too? that way it'd be easier for people to know when it is without having to worry about all that time zone translation madness.

While having a one-time zone countdown would be nice, there are so many different time zones and many people in different countries that having a single countdown would not work. Having "time zone translation madness" isn't the right way to put it since many people view Inkipedia from all around the globe, and therefore it would be necessary for everyone to have their time zone added. For example, say that for me it is 1:00 am and for you it is 3:00 pm. This means we are in different days and our countdown would not be the same. That's why time zones are so imperative to a countdown. One would simply not be sufficient. Sorry, I hope this helped! Have a nice day!

Also what do you mean by one Splatfest countdown? Viewing of the time can be seen when you go to the kiosk for your team. We did have a Splatfest countdown, but there were many time zones. Sorry about the repetitive responses!

Let's say we'd do one, it would be in the one time zone that all wikis use: UTC. The same thing was with the Splatoon 3 countdown- it used utc. If a person so desperately needs to know when a splatfest is, then they could look up the utc to their time zone, because they are online if they're even on the site. That's a more clear summary of what I was trying to say. Thank you for clearing that part up! I think bringing back the Splatfest countdown would be a great idea! I have no experience with anything like that so someone with experience would most likely have a good shot at it. I still wouldn't want to put pressure on anyone to do it.

I'm not sure that's true, though. My Splatfest time started two hours after the clock on the page. I'm sure we can just keep the Splatfest countdown as the date. I agree we should just wait and see.

Image problems

I am putting this here 'Cause I don't know where else to put it.

This is a problem. I'm am trying to get images to my Third Sandbox. Link:User:Splat.girl/Sandbox 3.If the problem that I'm having works here then that's a big problem cause when I do it on my Sandbox 3 it does not work. I can show an example here: I will be trying a pic of evil Callie and this is what happens: S2 evil callie.jpg. The news is weird

First, that isn't really what the wiki is about. It has to do with more of with in-game things and not people who play that game. There was a more fleshed-out response from an admin that was on here but I'm not sure where. Although the sentance above looks gramatically correct, I don't think it's the best mainpage subtitle possible. I propose something along the lines of

"Thank you for contributing towards our 2,803 articles since May 24, 2015!"

Do you mean that we make this page (or a copy) in a Japanese version? It does seem fitting as Nintendo is more or less a Japan originated franchise, but making that would most likely be a lot bigger than a few people knowing basic Japanese. Salmon run: next wave schedule bug (within Main Page/S3) - does not show Big Runs, might break during the Big Run

(yes, I know, Main Page/Big Run does show the upcoming Big Run so this is a bit of a moot point, but documenting this bug anyway in case it causes issues during the Big Run) Anyway, as mentioned in the title, the automated Salmon Run: Next Wave schedule thing within Main Page/S3 does not appear to show Big Runs. It shows the current rotation, and the rotation that'll be up after the Big Run, but not the Big Run.

Seeing as that element in that page is an <splatoon3salmon /> element, and idk where the source code for it actually is so I can't take a look around it for myself, it might be worth taking a look at it to fix the bug if you do know where the code for it actually is. It's no official page, but I use User_talk:Trig_Jegman/Project_Clean-Up#Page_Quality for specific page quality and this page as a whole for improving the site. Generally speaking, Cross Wiki Week's page, the stubs category, this maintenance page, and the current projects page take care of like, 95% of things that need done. Trig - 04:05, 2 April 2023 (UTC)

Eggsta Work on MP

Would EW be main-page worthy? I was thinking of some ideas if it was.

1) Replace Big Run widget with a Salmon Run Event widget instead (update it so that it has the next/most recent event on it)

2) Add in an eggstra work widget

3) Do nothing (If it's not noteworthy)

Salmon run Rotation

Because it's only a set boss for Big Run. Normal Salmon Run's boss salmonid is always random. SP☆CEBOY (talk) 21:25, 16 May 2023 (UTC)

They actually alternate, Horrorboros always goes after Cohozuna and Cohozuna always goes after Horrorboros. The only exception might be when a wildcard rotation happens. Other than that, while there's only two King Salmonids, they'll keep alternating, it's not known if this will stay true when a third King Salmonid gets added to the game. Schedule/Alert template for challenges

dark theme

For those of us that browse inkipedia in the dead of night, I wanted to propose an idea for a dark theme for inkipedia. The dark theme would be dark, hence dark theme, but with red, yellow, and blue highlights, referencing the splatoon 3 splatfest preview colors, replacing the yellow and blue/purple that's usually in the standard/light theme. If you are using the old vector skin, it may interest you to check out User:Fumple/DarkMode. Alternatively, you could use your own custom CSS design to change the colors as you have mentioned, through Preferences->Appearance. Trig - 01:11, 12 June 2023 (UTC)

Two Splatfest sections.

Currently, there are no events in between the ice cream fest and the upcoming fest, so both of them are in the events tab. When the next big run occurs (which is the next major splatoon 3 event) the previous fest will be removed. OrderSquid38 [Talk] 00:45, 29 July 2023 (UTC)

As OrderSquid said, it was removed due to lack of use. I'm guessing that everyone is using Discord to organize games. If you use the Inkfest page, you can save a bookmark to Inkipedia:Inkfest, or you can type INK:FEST or Inkipedia:Inkfest in the search bar. Heddy (talk) 16:27, 3 September 2023 (UTC)
