Propeller-Lift Playground, also named Propeller Lift Playground,(EU/OC)[a] is the sixth mission in Splatoon's single-player mode, Octo Valley. It gets its name from its heavy use of propellers.

Octo Valley

After the player clears The Mighty Octostomp!, they gain access to Area 2 via an Inkrail. Turn left and walk toward the middle and largest pillar and shoot the invisible kettle on top of it to access the level.

Propellor-Lift Playground features a small gauntlet of enemies before introducing the new mechanic of Propellers. They are used for vertical movement and tactical combat challenges, then horizontal platforming, and finally to bring other objects closer to the player Inkling.

The Department of Energy has announced that further declines in the availability of electric power are likely to occur in the near future. With the underground domes also deteriorating rapidly, the future does not look bright."

Location: After the second checkpoint and the Twintacle Octotroopers is a large propeller platform which, after shooting the propeller, leads to a secret area below it with the Sunken Scroll and a launchpad to return up.

  • Several strange sounds of rust and decay can be heard near the various cranes found within this level. These sounds are later heard during the Undeniable Flying Object mission.
  • After the last checkpoint, there are three propeller lifts. Behind the first one and below the third one are the characters イ and カ, which together form the katakana "ika", the Japanese word for "squid".
  • The German name for this mission is a play on the phrase "von Winde verweht" which means "blown away by the wind". It shares a wind-themed pun with Propeller-Lift Fortress.
  • The icon for Propeller-Lift Playground shows a red object on the bottom of the propeller lift that resembles the nozzle of a Gusher.
