Version 2.8.0 is a revision to Splatoon that came into effect at Template:UTC on June 8th, 2016. It added Vol. 2 of Sheldon's Picks and made many adjustments to weapons and stages.[1]

New weapons

Vol. 2 of Sheldon's Picks, a set of nine weapons:

Two new pieces of gear have been added, which will appear in the in-game shop at random. These new pieces of gear are in collaboration with CoroCoro Comic in Japan.
