The Golden Toothpick is headgear in Splatoon 2.
It is a 3-star item produced by Cuttlegear and comes with the primary ability Special Charge Up. It can be obtained from the Octo Expansion by defeating Inner Agent 3, which is unlocked by having no CQ points in debt, collecting all eighty full mem cakes by beating each station without asking for help, and completing the escape levels even with help. It cannot be ordered from another player.
Appearance
The Golden Toothpick is shiny gold ornament resembling a ball of takoyaki with a skewer through it. How it is worn depends on the wearer's hairstyle.
- Double-Bun, Pigtail, Topknot, Hipster (Inkling), and Pony (Octoling): The Golden Toothpick is tucked into the hairstyle's knot like a hairpin. For the Pigtail hairstyle, it is tucked into the left knot.
- Afro (Octoling): The Golden Toothpick sticks out of the afro like an afro pick and only the skewer is seen.
- Other hairstyles: The Golden Toothpick is simply put above the wearer's left ear.

Abilities
The Golden Toothpick comes with Special Charge Up as the primary ability. As a 3-star item, the Golden Toothpick comes with three additional slots for secondary abilities. Since it is made by the Cuttlegear gear brand, it has equal chances to roll any secondary ability.
