The Purple Novelty Visor is headgear in Splatoon 2. It was released via the Splatoon 2 Switch News channel as a promotion for the Hare vs. Tortoise Splatfest.
Appearance
The Purple Novelty Visor is a purple, see-through visor with a black brim and band. On the visor is a design featuring part of the text from the Tentatek logo in white, with the word "Fes" in smaller Inkling (language) text over it. Partially on top of that text, there is a small Splatfest logo. Inkling boys wear this visor tilted to the right, while the girls wear it forwards. Octoling boys wear the visor backwards and tilted while the girls wear it tilted to the left.

Abilities
The Purple Novelty Visor come with Ink Resistance Up as the primary ability. As a 3-star item, the Purple Novelty Visor comes with three additional slots for secondary abilities. Since it is made by the Tentatek gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Ink Recovery Up and a lower chance of rolling Quick Super Jump to fill its secondary ability slots.
