Trivia

  • In the Spanish and French localizations, short team names are instead "Dinosaurs vs. Robots" with the news dialogue being changed a little to emphasize this aspect of the theme. However, the full team names still reference the main Past vs. Future theme.
  • In the Spanish localization, Callie had previously shown an interest in dinosaurs during the Art vs. Science Splatfest.
  • In Splatoon 2, When talking to Marie in Octo Canyon, she wishes that she had "a pineapple-free pizza from the future", referencing both Past vs. Future alongside the European Splatfest, Delicious vs. Disgusting.
