Null Armor Replica

From Inkipedia, the Splatoon wiki

The Null Armor Replica is a piece of clothing in Splatoon 2.

It is a 2-star item produced by Cuttlegear and comes with the primary ability Ink Resistance Up. It is obtained from the Octo Expansion by talking to Iso Padre after collecting five sets of mem cakes (including grayscale mem cakes). It must then be claimed from a box in Inkopolis Square after completing the Octo Expansion. It cannot be ordered from another player.

Appearance

The Null Armor Replica is a mix of a dark jacket with armor plating on the chest, back and shoulders, with accents of the current ink color. It features Agent 8's wristband and fingerless gloves.

This item is a replica of the jacket worn by Agent 8 after picking up two pieces of armor in an Octo Expansion level.

Abilities

The Null Armor Replica comes with Ink Resistance Up as the primary ability. As a 2-star item, the Null Armor Replica comes with two additional slots for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail for each slot. Etymology

The "Null" in the English name is the romanization of ネル Neru (Japanese name of Kamabo, which can also mean 練る neru "kneading") instead of the intended "Kamabo".
