Fugu Tee
The Fugu Tee is a piece of clothing in the Splatoon series.
In Splatoon, it is a 1-star item produced by Firefin and comes with the primary ability Swim Speed Up.
It can be purchased from Jelly Fresh for 
750.
In Splatoon 2, it is a 1-star item produced by Firefin and comes with the primary ability Swim Speed Up.
It can be purchased from Ye Olde Cloth Shoppe for 
750 or from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for 1,875.
In Splatoon 3, it is a 0-star item produced by Firefin and comes with the primary ability Swim Speed Up.
It can be purchased from Man-o'-Wardrobe for 
750.
Appearance
The Fugu Tee is a short-sleeved T-shirt in a very dark gray. On the front on a large, circular, white background is a black and white version of the Firefin logo with an Inkling symbol in place of the fish's face. On the bottom is a tiny white tag with a much smaller Firefin logo, and on the back is Firefin's name in bright green Inkling text with black outlines. In Splatoon 3, the shirt can be changed into an oversized version using the 'Adjust Gear' feature.

Abilities
The Fugu Tee comes with Swim Speed Up as the primary ability. As a 1-star item, the Fugu Tee comes with one additional slot for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail or 30,000 cash for each slot. Since it is made by the Firefin gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Ink Saver (Sub) and a lower chance of rolling Ink Recovery Up to fill its secondary ability slot.

When purchased from SplatNet 2, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Clothing (with the exception of Ability Doubler). As a 1-star item, the Fugu Tee comes with one additional slot for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail for each slot. Since it is made by the Firefin gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Ink Saver (Sub) and a lower chance of rolling Ink Recovery Up to fill its secondary ability slot.

The Fugu Tee comes with Swim Speed Up as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch. When purchased from SplatNet 3, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Clothing (with the exception of Ability Doubler). As a 0-star item, the Fugu Tee comes with one additional slot for secondary abilities. The star level may be increased with Super Sea Snails for 1 (first), 1 (second), 5 (third), 10 (fourth), or 20 (fifth) Super Sea Snails per star, or by purchasing additional copies of it from Man-o'-Wardrobe for 10,000 (first), 30,000 (second), 50,000 (third), 100,000 (fourth), or 200,000 (fifth) Cash per star. Increasing the star level to 1 or 2 stars will add a secondary ability slot per level, up to a maximum of three slots. Increasing the star level beyond 2 stars will increase the gear experience gained by a cumulative 3.333…% up to 10% additional experience at 5-star level. Since it is made by the Firefin gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Ink Saver (Sub) and a lower chance of rolling Ink Recovery Up to fill its secondary ability slots.

Trivia
- "Fugu" means "puffer fish" in Japanese, referencing the fish in the Firefin logo.
- The Fugu Tee had been in Splatoon's data files since the original release, but was not made available until Version 2.3.0. Prior to its addition, it was called the Charcoal Puffer Tee and had a white counterpart simply called the White Puffer Tee. The NoA French name was not changed, despite the removal of the White Puffer Tee.
