Rockenberg Black
The Rockenberg Black is a piece of clothing in the Splatoon series.
In Splatoon, it is a 1-star item produced by Rockenberg and comes with the primary ability Damage Up.
It can be purchased from Jelly Fresh for

In Splatoon 2, it is a 1-star item produced by Rockenberg and comes with the primary ability Respawn Punisher.
It can be purchased from Ye Olde Cloth Shoppe for 
800 or from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for 2,000.
In Splatoon 3, it is a 0-star item produced by Rockenberg and comes with the primary ability Respawn Punisher.
It can be purchased from Man-o'-Wardrobe for 
800 or from SplatNet 3 Shop for 2,000.
Appearance
The Rockenberg Black is a simple short-sleeved T-shirt that, despite the name, is not black, but a very dark gray. On the chest is the Inkling text from the Rockenberg logo in white, and on the back is a large version of the full Rockenberg logo, also in white. On the left side of the shirt, at about waist level, there is a tiny red-orange tag. In Splatoon 3, the shirt can be changed into an oversized version using the "Adjust Gear" feature.

The Rockenberg Black comes with Damage Up as the primary ability. As a 1-star item, the Rockenberg Black comes with one additional slot for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail or 30,000 cash for each slot. Since it is made by the Rockenberg gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Run Speed Up and a lower chance of rolling Swim Speed Up to fill its secondary ability slot.

When purchased from SplatNet 2, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Clothing (with the exception of Ability Doubler). As a 1-star item, the Rockenberg Black comes with one additional slot for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail for each slot. Since it is made by the Rockenberg gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Run Speed Up and a lower chance of rolling Swim Speed Up to fill its secondary ability slot.

Increasing the star level to 1 or 2 stars will add a secondary ability slot per level, up to a maximum of three slots. Increasing the star level beyond 2 stars will increase the gear experience gained by a cumulative 3.333…% up to 10% additional experience at 5-star level. Since it is made by the Rockenberg gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Run Speed Up and a lower chance of rolling Swim Speed Up to fill its secondary ability slots.
