Past vs. Present vs. Future, also known as Grand Festival, is an upcoming Splatfest event in Splatoon 3. It was announced on social networks on 19 July 2024. It will be held for 72 hours from 13 September 2024 to 16 September 2024.
Details
This special Splatfest event will take place in a new area that resembles where the tutorial takes place. The Squid Sisters, Off the Hook and Deep Cut will all perform in tents within this new area, as well as upon the larger stage as a single group.
While performing in individual tents, the idols wear their usual costumes. During the group performance upon the larger stage, all idols wear new chrome costumes:
- Callie wears a turtleneck dress with a frilly skirt and opera gloves. She has spiked accessories in her tentacles' knot.
- Marie wears a long-sleeved off-the-shoulder dress with chrome trim and a frilly skirt. She has a crown in place of her usual hat.
- Pearl wears a peaked cap bearing Off the Hook's logo at the center, a crop top with a harness atop a mesh t-shirt, shorts and boots.
- Marina wears a white bikini top, chrome necklace, laced pants with tall boots. Lacking her usual headphones, she wears multiple piercings in her ears.
- Shiver wears a crossed crop top, bracelets and chrome bell-bottoms. She has a red Deep Cut logo tattoo on her abdomen.
- Frye wears a long-sleeved crop top, chrome short shorts and knee-high boots. Her tentacles are up in triangular buns, and she has an X-shaped accessory on her ear.
- Big Man wears spiked suspenders and a flared headpiece reminiscent of a mohawk. He additionally has makeup on, with a new pattern on his fins.
