Drop Roller is an ability in Splatoon 2. The ability is exclusive to shoes, and cannot be rolled as a sub ability.
Drop Roller allows the player to roll after performing a Super Jump (including when jumping back to the Ink Jet's starting point) by tilting in the desired direction. The roll is similar to the one provided by the Splat Dualies, albeit much slower. After a Drop Roll, the user will get Run Speed Up, Swim Speed Up, and Ink Resistance Up for about 3 seconds.
Tactics
This ability is useful for surviving a super jumping to a dangerous location.
