Training is the sixth chapter of the Splatoon manga. It was first released on 28 October 2016.
Plot
After the shocking loss against the Purple Team, the Blue Team, with the help of Rider, train so they could have a rematch with Skull. During the training, Rider tells them to go out one at a time and try to avoid his shots. Goggles goes first, and gets hit right where it hurts most. Specs and Headphones are rather worried, with Specs saying "That didn't look comfortable". Headphones suggests that Rider did it on purpose, but Rider denys it. The rest of Team Blue have their goes, but are all splatted. Rider tells them that their training will get them nowhere if they don't dodge the attacks. This gives Goggles an idea; if he gets hit, no more snacks for him for the rest of the day. This leads to 'Operation If You Get Hit, Bad Things Will Happen To You'. Each member had a different bad thing, and they succeded. Rider couldn't tell if they were ridiculous or not. He then sets up a turf war between his team, Team Yellow-Green, and Team Blue. Team Blue is pretty surprised that Rider's team was still together. Goggles does an impression of Rider from their first battle, which leads to Rider shooting Goggles with the E-liter. Team Blue loses, but during the battle Goggles had too much to drink and needs to use the bathroom. Goggles dodges every single attack and gets past Rider and Stealth Goggles. Rider is actually impressed by this move. After the battle, Rider tells Goggles that he might actually be stronger than an S4 and gives him a different training program. Eventually, Team Blue wins and Rider tells them that Team Blue has got to win against Skull and Team Purple.
