Ranked Battle Cup is the thirty-second chapter of the Splatoon manga. It was first released on 15 February 2019.

Plot

Goggles, Headphones and Bobble Hat are getting ready for the new cup, the Square King Ranked Cup, only to realize that Specs is the one who is late this time. It turns out he had to be cured first after getting stung by insects. Crusty Sean greets the team, only for him and his shop to be blasted again, this time by an explosion from an overheat in the shop caused by Emperor who escaped using his Inkjet. Not having enough money to fix his problem, Emperor steps up to replace Specs for Team Blue, and they participate in the preliminaries, renaming the team to Team Blueperor. The prize for winning the tournament is enough money to fix Crusty Sean's shop, so if Team Blueperor wins the tournament, Crusty Sean can get his shop back. Their first opponent is Team Green who the face on Blackbelly Skatepark, with the Tower Control being the game mode.
