The full name of each choice was "In 2016, I'm gonna GET FIT" and "In 2016, I'm gonna GET RICH". The team name portion of Splatfest titles was "Fitness" and "Money". The full event name was "Get Fit vs. Get Rich".[1]

The three stages selected for this Splatfest were: Urchin Underpass, Flounder Heights and Mahi-Mahi Resort.
