The Orange Novelty Visor is headgear in Splatoon 2.

It is a 3-star item produced by Tentatek and comes with the primary ability Last-Ditch Effort. It was released via the Splatoon 2 Switch News channel as a promotion for the Hare vs. Tortoise Splatfest. It can also be purchased from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for Cash 13,200.

Appearance

The Orange Novelty Visor is an orange translucent visor with a black brim and band. On the visor is a design featuring part of the text from the Tentatek logo in white, with the word "Fes" in smaller Inkling (language) text over it. On top of that text, there are two small Splatfest logos, one of which has part of it cut off. Inkling boys wear this visor turned backwards, while the girls wear it tilted to the left. Octoling boys wear the visor tilted to the right, while the girls wear it straight forward.

Abilities

The Orange Novelty Visor come with Last-Ditch Effort as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch, which, being exclusive to the main slot of Headgear, prevents the wearer from also having Comeback, Opening Gambit, or Tenacity. When purchased from SplatNet 2, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Headgear. As a 3-star item, the Orange Novelty Visor comes with three additional slots for secondary abilities. Since it is made by the Tentatek gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Ink Recovery Up and a lower chance of rolling Quick Super Jump to fill its secondary ability slots.
