The Pilot Hat is headgear in Splatoon 2.
It is a 3-star item produced by Splash Mob and comes with the primary ability Ink Resistance Up.
It can be purchased from Headspace for 
11,500 or from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for 17,250.
Appearance
The Pilot Hat is a naturally grey-blue hat that changes color depending on the wearer's ink. It has a flipped-up bill and two earflaps. It has a fur lining, a fastener, and a pocket on both earflaps. On the right side pocket is a small Splash Mob tag, and on the back is a large Splash Mob logo in white.

Abilities
The Pilot Hat comes with Ink Resistance Up as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch. When purchased from SplatNet 2, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Headgear. As a 3-star item, the Pilot Hat comes with three additional slots for secondary abilities. Since it is made by the Splash Mob gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Ink Saver (Main) and a lower chance of rolling Run Speed Up to fill its secondary ability slots.
