Red 3-Straps

The Strapping Reds are shoes in Splatoon and Splatoon 2. It is a 1-star item produced by [[File:Splash Mob_Brand_{{{2}}}.png|24px|{{{2}}}|link=SquidForce]] [[{{{2}}}|{{{2}}}]] and comes with the main ability Ink Resistance Up.

It can be purchased from for File:700 Icon Cash.png, from for File:1,400 Icon Cash.png, or from SplatNet 2 for File:3,500 Icon Cash.png.

Appearance

The Strapping Reds are a pair of flattish shoes with three thick Velcro straps instead of laces and short, blue-gray socks worn underneath. They are mostly red, with a white stripe toward the bottom and a white zig-zag pattern on both sides. On the topmost strap is the [[File:Splash Mob_Brand_{{{2}}}.png|24px|{{{2}}}|link=SquidForce]] [[{{{2}}}|{{{2}}}]] logo in white.

The Red 3-Straps come with Ink Resistance Up as the primary ability, which, being exclusive to the main slot of Shoes, prevents the wearer from also having Bomb Sniffer or Stealth Jump. As a 3-star item, the Red 3-Straps come with three additional slots for secondary abilities. Since they are made by the Splash Mob gear brand, they have a higher chance of rolling Ink Saver (Main) and a lower chance of rolling Run Speed Up to fill their secondary ability slots.
