Template:InfoboxMode Challenge mode is an event mode which was added in Sizzle Season 2023. Officially a replacement for Splatoon 2's League Battle,^[1] Challenges are limited-time competitions of standard modes with unique in-match conditions. They can be played solo or with a team, and feature a two-hour ranked play window similar to League Battle, but unlike League Battle's constant rotations, the windows only occur at a few specific times during a season. Winning five games in a Challenge awards the player with a Shell-Out Token.

Description	Compete on a perfectly level playing field - everyone will be trying out a new stage together! Develop stage-specific strategies and tactics in real time. Only primary gear abilities will be enabled in Turf War battles. Secondary gear abilities will have no effect! There will be no limits on gear abilities in Anarchy Battle modes!

Description	Can you defeat a Trizooka user with a Trizooka of your own?! Now's the time to find out! You can only use weapons that come with the Trizooka special. The special gauge will fill quickly all by itself! Only primary gear abilities will be enabled! Secondary abilities will have no effect.

The Sheldon Sampler Challenge Make the most of random weapons!

Description	"I'm happy to loan out my entire inventory for this Challenge. Try something different, and see if you find a new favorite!" -Sheldon Weapons will be randomly assigned before each battle. Sheldon will be graciously loaning these weapons out, so don't worry if you don't own every possible weapon.

Description	How high can you get your Challenge Power this month? Only primary gear abilities will be enabled in Turf War battles. Secondary gear abilities will have no effect! There will be no limits on gear abilities in Anarchy Battle modes!
