It is a 3-star item produced by Tentatek and comes with the primary ability Tenacity.
It was released via the Splatoon 2 Switch News channel as a promotion for the Hare vs. Tortoise Splatfest. It can also be purchased from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for 
13,200.
Appearance
The Pink Novelty Visor is a see-through pink visor with a black brim and band. On the visor is a design featuring part of the text from the Tentatek logo in white, with the word "Fes" in smaller Inkling text over it. On top of that text, there is a small Splatfest logo. Inkling boys wear this visor facing forwards, while Inkling girls wear it turned backwards. Similarly, Octoling boys wear the visor tilted to the left while Octoling girls wear it tilted to the right.
Abilities
The Pink Novelty Visor come with Tenacity as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch, which, being exclusive to the main slot of Headgear, prevents the wearer from also having Comeback, Last-Ditch Effort, or Opening Gambit. When purchased from SplatNet 2, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Headgear. As a 3-star item, the Pink Novelty Visor comes with three additional slots for secondary abilities. Since it is made by the Tentatek gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Ink Recovery Up and a lower chance of rolling Quick Super Jump to fill its secondary ability slots.
