Zekko Cap

The Zekko Cap is headgear in Splatoon 2.

It is a 2-star item produced by Zekko and comes with the primary ability Opening Gambit. It can be purchased from Headspace for  2,700 or from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for  5,400.

Appearance

The Zekko Cap is a black flip-bill cap accompanied by oval sunglasses that change color depending on the wearer's ink, but not necessarily to match. The cap has Zekko logo text on the bottom of the bill and on the front of the cap.

Abilities

The Zekko Cap comes with Opening Gambit as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch, which, being exclusive to the main slot of Headgear, prevents the wearer from also having Comeback, Last-Ditch Effort, or Tenacity. When purchased from SplatNet 2, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Headgear. As a 2-star item, the Zekko Cap comes with two additional slots for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail for each slot. Since it is made by the Zekko gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Special Saver and a lower chance of rolling Special Charge Up to fill its secondary ability slots.

• The sunglasses resemble the Double Egg Shades, but with a varying color depending on the wearer's ink.
