The Null Visor Replica is headgear in Splatoon 2.

It is a 2-star item produced by Cuttlegear and comes with the primary ability Special Power Up. It is obtained from the Octo Expansion by talking to Iso Padre after collecting four sets of mem cakes (including grayscale mem cakes). It must then be claimed from a box in Inkopolis Square after completing the Octo Expansion. It cannot be ordered from another player.

Appearance

The Null Visor Replica is a black helmet with a visor that changes to match the user's ink. White Kamabo Corporation logos are printed on the front (behind the visor) and back sides of the helmet. In addition, graffiti and stickers (some of which are Kamabo's logo) can be seen on the helmet.

This item is a replica of the helmet worn by Agent 8 after picking up two pieces of armor in an Octo Expansion level.

Abilities

The Null Visor Replica comes with Special Power Up as the primary ability. As a 2-star item, the Null Visor Replica comes with two additional slots for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail for each slot. Since it is made by the Cuttlegear gear brand, it has equal chances to roll any secondary ability.

Trivia

  • The Null Visor Replica has a sticker under the visor that looks like a pair of eyes sticking out, which resemble Cap'n Cuttlefish's eyes.

Etymology
