Octo Valley is a song.

Description

Octo Valley is an ambient electronic track, featuring an electronic melody, and rapid drums, heard in Splatoon. Variations are heard in every Octo Valley Area, but the one heard in Area 5 is the one also be heard in Squid Beatz, implying that version to be the original. Compared to the other Area versions, the Area 5 version has a lower pitch, more distorted, more rapid and intense, and has a different, quicker drum track, similar to drum and bass. It's role was replaced by Octo Canyon in Splatoon 2.

Other versions

A very stripped back version, removing the main melody line, drum tracks, and is overall a higher pitch, clearer, less rapid and more easier going. It is heard in Area 1.

This version is mostly the same as "Area 1", but now it adds a buzzing sound. It is heard in Area 2.

Octo Valley (Area 3)

This version is mostly the same as "Area 2", but now it adds the main melody line, which. It is heard in Area 3.

Octo Valley (Area 4)

Octo Valley (Splatune)

In Splatune, a medley of the three versions is included instead. The "Area 1" version is played until 0:47, when it switches to "Area 2". At 1:33 it switches to "Area 3" and at 2:18, it switches to "Area 4". It than switches for the final time to the full, regular version at 3:04.
