Fizzbangs are a new Splatfest mechanic introduced in Splatoon 3 during Fresh Season 2024. They are small bombs with an explosion resembling fireworks.
Details
Fizzbangs follow the player, similar to the clams in Clam Blitz, and can be thrown, and upon landing on the ground, fly up a short distance and explode, which damages opponents within a certain radius of the Fizzbang. Fizzbangs are acquired by respawning or by splatting opponents. Splatting an opponent gives the player 1-3 Fizzbangs depending on the remaining time in the match: 1 during the first minute of the match, 2 during the second minute, and 3 in the final minute. A player may hold up to 6 fizzbangs at a time.
