Forge Inkling Parka
The Forge Inkling Parka is a piece of clothing in the Splatoon series.
In Splatoon, it is a 2-star item produced by Forge and comes with the primary ability Run Speed Up. It can be purchased from Jelly Fresh for 2,900.
In Splatoon 2, it is a 2-star item produced by Forge and comes with the primary ability Run Speed Up. It can be purchased from Ye Olde Cloth Shoppe for 2,900 or from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for 5,800.
Appearance
The Forge Inkling Parka is a dark green fishtail parka lined with tan fur at the hood, worn over a white collared shirt and black tie. On the left side of the chest is a target-like symbol with a slight resemblance to an octopus in hot pink, white, and a dark blue-violet. It has three pockets, two on the front and one on the left sleeve. Instead of a fourth pocket on the right sleeve, there a small Forge logo in black.

The Forge Inkling Parka comes with Run Speed Up as the primary ability. As a 2-star item, the Forge Inkling Parka comes with two additional slots for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail or 30,000 cash for each slot. Since it is made by the Forge gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Special Duration Up and a lower chance of rolling Ink Saver (Sub) to fill its secondary ability slots.

The Forge Inkling Parka comes with Run Speed Up as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch. When purchased from SplatNet 2, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Clothing (with the exception of Ability Doubler). As a 2-star item, the Forge Inkling Parka comes with two additional slots for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail for each slot. Since it is made by the Forge gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Special Power Up and a lower chance of rolling Ink Saver (Sub) to fill its secondary ability slots.
Trivia
- The Forge Inkling Parka's circular symbol is a reference to a Royal Air Force roundel, commonly seen in mod fashion. The general style of the Parka is also reminiscent of mod culture.
