Octoweaponry, like many Turquoise October songs, is an electronic song, featuring many chiptune influences and Octarian-sounding vocals, such as a repeating "yeah" vocal. It also contains a sound effect partway in that resembles a phone line soon after the thirty second mark. Around the 32-second mark, some orchestral horns and chorus are heard. It plays during the third and final phase of any fight with a Great Octoweapon, in the missions The Mighty Octostomp!, The Dreaded Octonozzle!, The Rampaging Octowhirl! and The Ravenous Octomaw!, and can also be heard in Squid Beatz. It was replaced by Octarmaments as the new boss battle music in Splatoon 2.
