Snorkel Mask

The Snorkel Mask^(NA), or Snorkel^(EU/OC), is headgear in Splatoon and Splatoon 2. It is a 2-star item produced by [[File:Forge_Brand_{{{2}}}.png|24px|{{{2}}}|link=SquidForce]] [[{{{2}}}|{{{2}}}]] and comes with the main ability Damage Up (Splatoon) or Ink Saver (Sub) (Splatoon 2).

It can be purchased from and for File:3,000 Icon Cash.png, or from SplatNet 2 for File:6,000 Icon Cash.png.

Appearance

The Snorkel Mask is a pair of neon green swim goggles with a yellow snorkel on the wearer's left side. It has two black straps in the back to keep it in place, and another black strap attaching the snorkel to the goggles. Despite it looking fully functional, it is just for show, as Inklings cannot swim in water in the first place.

The Snorkel Mask comes with Damage Up as the primary ability. As a 2-star item, the Snorkel Mask comes with two additional slots for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail or 30,000 cash for each slot. Since it is made by the Forge gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Special Duration Up and a lower chance of rolling Ink Saver (Sub) to fill its secondary ability slots.

When purchased from SplatNet 2, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Headgear. As a 2-star item, the Snorkel Mask comes with two additional slots for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail for each slot. Since it is made by the Forge gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Special Power Up and a lower chance of rolling Ink Saver (Sub) to fill its secondary ability slots.
