The 18K Aviators are headgear in Splatoon and Splatoon 2. They are a 3-star item produced by {} and come with the main ability Last-Ditch Effort.
They can be purchased from Lua error in Module:Shop at line 47: attempt to index field '?' (a nil value). and Lua error in Module:Shop at line 47: attempt to index field '?' (a nil value). for Cash, or from SplatNet 2 for Cash.
Splatoon
Appearance
The 18K Aviators are a pair of aviator sunglasses with shiny, gold-colored frames and dark brown lenses that fade from nearly opaque at the top to semi-transparent at the bottom. On the bottom of the left lens is the Inkling text from the {} logo in white. Interestingly, they are the only glasses in Splatoon to have nose pieces.
Abilities
The 18K Aviators come with Last-Ditch Effort as a main ability, which, being exclusive to the main slot of headgear, prevents the wearer from also having Opening Gambit, Tenacity, or Comeback. As a 3-star item, the 18K Aviators have three additional slots for secondary Abilities. Since they are made by the {} Brand, they have a higher chance of rolling Run Speed Up and a lower chance of rolling Swim Speed Up.

Trivia
- The "18K" in the name refers to 18-karat gold, suggesting that the gold-colored frames may be actual gold.
- At 12,000 cash, the 18K Aviators are the most expensive piece of gear with Last-Ditch Effort and most expensive piece of headgear in the game. They are tied with the Varsity Jacket and Blue Moto Boots for the most expensive gear overall.
