The Camping Hat is headgear in Splatoon and Splatoon 2. It is a 1-star item produced by [[File:Inkline_Brand_{{{2}}}.png|24px|{{{2}}}|link=SquidForce]] [[{{{2}}}|{{{2}}}]] and comes with the main ability 
Special Duration Up in Splatoon and 
Special Power Up in Splatoon 2.
It can be purchased from Lua error in Module:Shop at line 47: attempt to index field '?' (a nil value). and Lua error in Module:Shop at line 47: attempt to index field '?' (a nil value). for File:800 Icon Cash.png, or from SplatNet 2 for File:2,000 Icon Cash.png.
Appearance
The Camping Hat is a floppy, wide-brimmed hat that changes color to match that of the wearer's ink. The band and edge of the brim are both lighter than the main color, and the band has a small version of the [[File:Inkline_Brand_{{{2}}}.png|24px|{{{2}}}|link=SquidForce]] [[{{{2}}}|{{{2}}}]] logo in black and white on the front. The hat is secured to the head with a black rope at the chin, cinched by an arrow-shaped fastener that also matches the wearer's Ink.

The Camping Hat comes with Special Duration Up as a main ability.
As a 1-star item, it also has one slot for a secondary ability. Since it is made by the [[File:Inkline_Brand_{{{2}}}.png|24px|{{{2}}}|link=SquidForce]] [[{{{2}}}|{{{2}}}]] brand, it has a higher chance of rolling 
Defense Up and a lower chance of rolling 
Damage Up.

The Camping Hat comes with Special Power Up as a main ability when purchased from shops or ordered from Murch. When purchased from SplatNet 2, this item can have any other ability normally available to Headgear items.
