The Octarian Retro is a piece of clothing in Splatoon 2.
It is a 2-star item produced by Cuttlegear and comes with the primary ability Respawn Punisher.
It can be purchased from Ye Olde Cloth Shoppe for 
5,000 or from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for 10,000.
Appearance
The Octarian Retro is a dull, light blue, pullover sweatshirt. On the front is a simple black illustration of an Octarian tied up in rope, with the Inkling text below it, which is also black. On the back of the shirt is more black Inkling text, with the Cuttlegear logo at the bottom.
Splatoon
Its hard to make out, but the design on the Octarian retro actually appears in the Story mode trailer for Splatoon for a brief second.
Splatoon 2
Abilities
The Octarian Retro comes with Respawn Punisher as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch, which, being exclusive to the main slot of Clothing, prevents the wearer from also having Ability Doubler, Haunt, Ninja Squid, or Thermal Ink. When purchased from SplatNet 2, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Clothing (with the exception of Ability Doubler). As a 2-star item, the Octarian Retro comes with two additional slots for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail for each slot. Since it is made by the Cuttlegear gear brand, it has equal chances to roll any secondary ability.
