The Red Cuttlegear LS is a piece of clothing in Splatoon 2.
It is a 2-star item produced by Cuttlegear and comes with the primary ability Bomb Defense Up DX.
It can be purchased from Ye Olde Cloth Shoppe for 
5,800 or from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for 11,600.
Appearance
The Red Cuttlegear LS is a red long-sleeved shirt with a black logo in the middle. The logo resembles that of a black 8-ball, with its 8 text straight and matching the red of the shirt. Similar to the Octo Tee, underneath the logo reads OCTOPUS in black Inkling. The sleeves puff out slightly at the wrists. The eight's logos are line-up vertically to the left sleeve. On the back has black Inkling Sign text with Cuttlegear's patch on.

Abilities
The Red Cuttlegear LS comes with Bomb Defense Up DX as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch. When purchased from SplatNet 2, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Clothing (with the exception of Ability Doubler). As a 2-star item, the Red Cuttlegear LS comes with two additional slots for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail for each slot. Since it is made by the Cuttlegear gear brand, it has equal chances to roll any secondary ability.

Splatoon 3
The Red Cuttlegear LS comes with Sub Resistance Up as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch. When purchased from SplatNet 3, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Clothing (with the exception of Ability Doubler). As a 1-star item, the Red Cuttlegear LS comes with two additional slot for secondary abilities. The star level may be increased with Super Sea Snails for 1 (second), 5 (third), 10 (fourth), or 20 (fifth) Super Sea Snails per star, or by purchasing additional copies of it from Man-o'-Wardrobe for 30,000 (second), 50,000 (third), 100,000 (fourth), or 200,000 (fifth) Cash per star. Increasing the star level to 2 stars will add a secondary ability slot per level, up to a maximum of three slots. Increasing the star level beyond 2 stars will increase the gear experience gained by a cumulative 3.333…% up to 10% additional experience at 5-star level. Since it is made by the Cuttlegear gear brand, it has an equal chance to roll any secondary ability.
