Safari Hat

Not to be confused with the Safari Hat ^(EU/OC) made by [[File:Firefin_Brand_{{{2}}}.png|24px|{{{2}}}|link=SquidForce]] [[{{{2}}}|{{{2}}}]], named Jungle Hat ^(NA).

The Safari Hat ^(NA), or Jungle Hat^{(Splatoon)(EU/OC)} is headgear in Splatoon and Splatoon 2. It is a 2-star item produced by [[File:Forge_Brand_{{{2}}}.png|24px|{{{2}}}|link=SquidForce]] [[{{{2}}}|{{{2}}}]] and comes with the main ability Last-Ditch Effort.

It can be purchased from and from for File:2,300 Icon Cash.png, or from SplatNet 2 for File:4,600 Icon Cash.png.

Appearance

The Safari Hat is a floppy, wide brimmed hat that changes color based on that of the wearer's ink, with the band being considerably lighter than the rest of the hat's dull shade. On the top of the hat is a brown design with a red lobster in the middle, hence the Japanese name "Lobster Boonie". It also has a thin black string securing it to the wearer's head.

The Safari Hat comes with Last-Ditch Effort as the primary ability, which, being exclusive to the main slot of Headgear, prevents the wearer from also having Comeback, Opening Gambit, or Tenacity. As a 2-star item, the Safari Hat comes with two additional slots for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail or 30,000 cash for each slot. Since it is made by the Forge gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Special Duration Up and a lower chance of rolling Ink Saver (Sub) to fill its secondary ability slots.

• Between the North American and Europe/Oceania versions, the Safari Hat and the Jungle Hat have switched names with each other. The reason for this is unknown.
