- The name Krak-On is likely a pun on the legendary sea monster kraken and "crack on" as words of encouragement. This is further supported by the fact the Krak-On Splat Roller has the Kraken as its special weapon in Splatoon.
- Krak-On produces the most shoes of any brand in Splatoon, selling 13 different items.
- In Splatoon, there is no Krak-On gear that has Comeback, Haunt, Last-Ditch Effort, Ninja Squid, Opening Gambit, Recon, Swim Speed Up or Tenacity as a primary ability.
- In Splatoon 2, there is no Krak-On gear that has Haunt, Last-Ditch Effort, Ninja Squid, Opening Gambit, Respawn Punisher, Swim Speed Up, Tenacity or Thermal Ink as a primary ability.
- It has been speculated that Krak-On's logo and some of its products are based on the real-life footwear brand, Converse.
