The Now or Never Earrings are headgear in Splatoon 3.
They are a 2-star item produced by SquidForce and come with the primary ability Comeback. They are available from the Switch News channel as a promotion for the Past vs. Present vs. Future Splatfest. They cannot be ordered from another player.
Appearance
The Now or Never Earrings are a set of several mismatched metallic piercings with a bicolored irregular silver-bronze finish. On the left ear, a large earring lined with thin, pointed spikes wraps around the back of the wearer's ear and is paired with a small stud worn towards the outer edge of the ear. On the right ear a smaller, spiked ring piercing is worn in the lobe of the ear, while another stud is placed higher up. The set is based on Marina's special headgear worn during the Grand Festival Splatfest event.

Abilities
The Now or Never Earrings come with Comeback as the primary ability, which, being exclusive to the main slot of Headgear, prevents the wearer from also having Last-Ditch Effort, Opening Gambit, or Tenacity. As a 2-star item, the Now or Never Earrings come with three additional slots for secondary abilities. The star level may be increased with Super Sea Snails for 1 (first), 1 (second), 5 (third), 10 (fourth), or 20 (fifth) Super Sea Snails per star, or by purchasing additional copies of them from Naut Couture for 10,000 (first), 30,000 (second), 50,000 (third), 100,000 (fourth), or 200,000 (fifth) Cash per star. Increasing the star level beyond 2 stars will increase the gear experience gained by a cumulative 3.333…% up to 10% additional experience at 5-star level. Since they are made by the SquidForce gear brand, they have a higher chance of rolling [[Script error: No such module "AbilityFromBrand".]] and a lower chance of rolling [[Script error: No such module "AbilityFromBrand".]] to fill their secondary ability slots.
