Now or Never Horns
Can you help us get it done?
The Now or Never Horns are headgear in Splatoon 3.
They are a 2-star item produced by SquidForce and come with the primary ability Tenacity. They are available from the Switch News channel as a promotion for the Past vs. Present vs. Future Splatfest. They cannot be ordered from another player.
Appearance
The Now or Never Horns are a pair of false tentacles worn on the head, similarly to hair extensions; accordingly, they also change color to match the wearer's ink. The spots do not change to rings instead when worn by an Octoling. True to their name, they taper to a somewhat hornlike point (also bearing resemblance to a squid or octopus sucker) to form buns and are wrapped in thin, crossed metallic bands with a bicolored irregular silver-bronze finish. They are based on Frye's special hairstyle worn during the Grand Festival Splatfest event.
Splatoon 3
Abilities
The Now or Never Horns come with Tenacity as the primary ability, which, being exclusive to the main slot of Headgear, prevents the wearer from also having Comeback, Last-Ditch Effort, or Opening Gambit. As a 2-star item, the Now or Never Horns come with three additional slots for secondary abilities. The star level may be increased with Super Sea Snails for 1 (first), 1 (second), 5 (third), 10 (fourth), or 20 (fifth) Super Sea Snails per star, or by purchasing additional copies of them from Naut Couture for 10,000 (first), 30,000 (second), 50,000 (third), 100,000 (fourth), or 200,000 (fifth) Cash per star. Increasing the star level beyond 2 stars will increase the gear experience gained by a cumulative 3.333…% up to 10% additional experience at 5-star level. Since they are made by the SquidForce gear brand, they have a higher chance of rolling [[Script error: No such module "AbilityFromBrand".]] and a lower chance of rolling [[Script error: No such module "AbilityFromBrand".]] to fill their secondary ability slots.

Trivia
- The Now or Never Horns are the only piece of Grand Festival promotional gear to have a non-fixed color, likely because it would appear unnatural for hair extensions to not match the wearer's hair color. However, their icon uses Frye's standard hair color (despite her not using this color as part of her special Grand Festival outfit).
