Trivia
- Of the four Splatfests that confront adding something to a food, this is the second time that team Alpha (Callie/Pearl) represents not adding the ingredient, following Gherk-OUT vs. Gherk-IN.
- In the non-Japanese versions, the team names of this Splatfest are swapped in Private Battles, displayed as "Pineapple/No Pineapple" instead. This causes a discrepancy with the ink colors, which are arranged in the correct order on the menu.
