The Knitted Hat is headgear in the Splatoon series.
It is a 1-star item produced by Firefin and comes with the primary ability Ink Resistance Up.
It can be purchased from Headspace for 
1,400 or from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for 3,500.
Appearance
The Knitted Hat is a solid-colored knit cap. It changes color to match the wearer's ink. Along the front is the 
Firefin name in white lettering and on the left side is a metal Firefin logo.
Splatoon 2
Abilities
The Knitted Hat comes with Ink Resistance Up as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch. When purchased from SplatNet 2, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Headgear. As a 1-star item, the Knitted Hat comes with one additional slot for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail for each slot. Since it is made by the Firefin gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Ink Saver (Sub) and a lower chance of rolling Ink Recovery Up to fill its secondary ability slot.

Trivia
- In late July 2017, the Knitted Hat accidentally appeared in SplatNet 2 with
Drop Roller as an ability, which is normally only allowed on shoes.
