Navy College Sweat

The Navy College Sweat is a piece of clothing in the Splatoon series.

In Splatoon, it is a 1-star item produced by Splash Mob and comes with the primary ability Damage Up. It can be purchased from Jelly Fresh for  800.

In Splatoon 2, it is a 1-star item produced by Splash Mob and comes with the primary ability Ink Resistance Up. It can be purchased from Ye Olde Cloth Shoppe for  800 or from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for  2,000.

In Splatoon 3, it is a 0-star item produced by Splash Mob and comes with the primary ability Ink Resistance Up. It can be purchased from Man-o'-Wardrobe for  800.

Appearance

The Navy College Sweat is a navy blue pullover sweatshirt. On the front are some Inkling symbols, with three large ones in lime green at the top, two white ones in a lime green oval in the middle, and several small ones in lime green at the bottom. On the back is one more Inkling letter, printed very large in both lime green and navy blue.

Splatoon

Abilities

The Navy College Sweat comes with Damage Up as the primary ability. As a 1-star item, the Navy College Sweat comes with one additional slot for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail or 30,000 cash for each slot. Since it is made by the Splash Mob gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Ink Saver (Main) and a lower chance of rolling Run Speed Up to fill its secondary ability slot.

Splatoon 2

Abilities

The Navy College Sweat comes with Ink Resistance Up as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch. When purchased from SplatNet 2, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Clothing (with the exception of Ability Doubler). As a 1-star item, the Navy College Sweat comes with one additional slot for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail for each slot. Since it is made by the Splash Mob gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Ink Saver (Main) and a lower chance of rolling Run Speed Up to fill its secondary ability slot.

Splatoon 3

Abilities

The Navy College Sweat comes with Ink Resistance Up as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch. When purchased from SplatNet 3, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Clothing (with the exception of Ability Doubler). As a 0-star item, the Navy College Sweat comes with one additional slot for secondary abilities. The star level may be increased with Super Sea Snails for 1 (first), 1 (second), 5 (third), 10 (fourth), or 20 (fifth) Super Sea Snails per star, or by purchasing additional copies of it from Man-o'-Wardrobe for 10,000 (first), 30,000 (second), 50,000 (third), 100,000 (fourth), or 200,000 (fifth) Cash per star. Increasing the star level to 1 or 2 stars will add a secondary ability slot per level, up to a maximum of three slots. Increasing the star level beyond 2 stars will increase the gear experience gained by a cumulative 3.333…% up to 10% additional experience at 5-star level. Since it is made by the Splash Mob gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Ink Saver (Main) and a lower chance of rolling Run Speed Up to fill its secondary ability slots.

• The Navy College Sweat is the only non-shoes item with Ink Resistance Up in Splatoon 2 that was also in Splatoon.
• The Navy College Sweat shares its ability, brand, rarity, and color with the Navy Striped LS.
• The Navy College Sweat had been in Splatoon's data files since the original release, but was not made available until Version 2.0.0.
