Black Baseball LS

The Black Baseball LS is a piece of clothing in the Splatoon series.

In Splatoon, it is a 1-star item produced by Rockenberg and comes with the primary ability Swim Speed Up. It can be purchased from Jelly Fresh for  800.

In Splatoon 2, it is a 1-star item produced by Rockenberg and comes with the primary ability Swim Speed Up. It can be purchased from Ye Olde Cloth Shoppe for  800 or from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for  2,000.

In Splatoon 3, it is a 0-star item produced by Rockenberg and comes with the primary ability Swim Speed Up. It can be purchased from Man-o'-Wardrobe for  800.

Appearance

The Black Baseball LS is a shirt that, despite the name, is not black but a very dark gray. It has semi-long sleeves that fall about halfway between the elbow and wrist, and a small version of the Rockenberg logo in white on the left side of the chest. On the back is a large white design, also with the Rockenberg logo. At the left side of the waist is a tiny orange tag.

Abilities

The Black Baseball LS comes with Swim Speed Up as the primary ability. As a 1-star item, the Black Baseball LS comes with one additional slot for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail or 30,000 cash for each slot. Since it is made by the Rockenberg gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Run Speed Up and a lower chance of rolling Swim Speed Up to fill its secondary ability slot.

When purchased from SplatNet 2, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Clothing (with the exception of Ability Doubler). As a 1-star item, the Black Baseball LS comes with one additional slot for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail for each slot. Since it is made by the Rockenberg gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Run Speed Up and a lower chance of rolling Swim Speed Up to fill its secondary ability slot.

As a 0-star item, the Black Baseball LS comes with one additional slot for secondary abilities. The star level may be increased with Super Sea Snails for 1 (first), 1 (second), 5 (third), 10 (fourth), or 20 (fifth) Super Sea Snails per star, or by purchasing additional copies of it from Man-o'-Wardrobe for 10,000 (first), 30,000 (second), 50,000 (third), 100,000 (fourth), or 200,000 (fifth) Cash per star. Increasing the star level to 1 or 2 stars will add a secondary ability slot per level, up to a maximum of three slots. Increasing the star level beyond 2 stars will increase the gear experience gained by a cumulative 3.333…% up to 10% additional experience at 5-star level. Since it is made by the Rockenberg gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Run Speed Up and a lower chance of rolling Swim Speed Up to fill its secondary ability slots.
