The Tricolor Rugby is a piece of clothing in the Splatoon series.

In Splatoon, it is a 1-star item produced by Takoroka and comes with the primary ability Quick Respawn. It can be purchased from Jelly Fresh for Cash 700.

In Splatoon 2, it is a 1-star item produced by Takoroka and comes with the primary ability Quick Respawn. It can be purchased from Ye Olde Cloth Shoppe for Cash 700 or from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for Cash 1,750.

In Splatoon 3, it is a 0-star item produced by Takoroka and comes with the primary ability Quick Respawn. It can be purchased from Man-o'-Wardrobe for Cash 700.

Appearance

The Tricolor Rugby is a long-sleeved, navy blue rugby shirt with a white collar and light gray cuffs. Across the chest and upper arms are two thick horizontal stripes, the upper being white and the lower dark red. On the left side of the chest area is a small patch with an an anchor-like symbol in blue and white, and on the back, just below the collar, is a large Takoroka logo in white.

The Tricolor Rugby comes with Quick Respawn as the primary ability. As a 1-star item, the Tricolor Rugby comes with one additional slot for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail or 30,000 cash for each slot. Since it is made by the Takoroka gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Special Charge Up and a lower chance of rolling Special Duration Up to fill its secondary ability slot.

Increasing the star level to 1 or 2 stars will add a secondary ability slot per level, up to a maximum of three slots. Increasing the star level beyond 2 stars will increase the gear experience gained by a cumulative 3.333…% up to 10% additional experience at 5-star level.
