The Studio Headphones are headgear in the Splatoon series.
In Splatoon, they are a 2-star item produced by Forge and come with the primary ability Ink Saver (Main). They can be purchased from Cooler Heads for 2,800.
In Splatoon 2, they are a 2-star item produced by Forge and come with the primary ability Ink Saver (Main). They can be purchased from Headspace for 2,800 or from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for 5,600.
Appearance
The Studio Headphones are a pair of bulky gray headphones. They feature large black earpieces connected by a thick padded band as well as the thin black bar arching over it.
Splatoon
Abilities
The Studio Headphones come with Ink Saver (Main) as the primary ability. As a 2-star item, the Studio Headphones come with two additional slots for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail or 30,000 cash for each slot. Since they are made by the Forge gear brand, they have a higher chance of rolling Special Duration Up and a lower chance of rolling Ink Saver (Sub) to fill their secondary ability slots.
Splatoon 2
Abilities
The Studio Headphones come with Ink Saver (Main) as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch. When purchased from SplatNet 2, they come with any other primary ability normally available to Headgear. As a 2-star item, the Studio Headphones come with two additional slots for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail for each slot. Since they are made by the Forge gear brand, they have a higher chance of rolling Special Power Up and a lower chance of rolling Ink Saver (Sub) to fill their secondary ability slots.
