Shooters are one of the five Main Weapon classifications in Splatoon. Shooters are fast shooting guns which fire small blobs of paint in rapid succession.

Blasters

Blasters are versions of Shooters which shoot slow, large bullets that explode in mid-air. These guns are recommended for close-combat rather that inking turf. They are generally regarded as inferior weapons because of their short range, movement impairing side effects, and poor ink turfing capabilities. With the advent of Tower Control, however, they have found a home due to their ability to simply pummel the tower from up close, making it difficult for the people on the tower to counter without blinding themselves to other, more easily dispatched threats.

  • The Standard Blaster Series
  • The Range Blaster Series
    • Range Blaster – Similar in both appearance and playstyle to the Blaster, but sacrifices firing rate for increased range. It comes in a set with the Splash Wall and the Inkstrike.
  • The Rapid Blaster Series
  • The Luna Blaster Series
    • Luna Blaster – Is a blaster that has a very short range, but does massive damage and has a slightly faster rate of fire. It comes with Ink Mines and the Inkzooka.
