Splat You On The Flip Side is the 8th level in Splatoon 3's story mode, Return of the Mammalians.
Description
To get to the goal the player will have to fight numerous enemies. The Octarians the player will be battling will be on sections of the platforms that are upside down, concealing them. These sections will flip over, revealing the enemies, when the player gets close to them.
Access
Just like the previous level, it will be a short walk. Again, you have to clear a path of Fuzzy Ooze to get to the level.
O.R.C.A.’s Notes
This mission will test your reaction time with a series of lively, life-threatening surprises.
Walkthrough
Note: Due to the level having no fee, you may retry from checkpoints as many times as you want, even if you lose all your lives.
Checkpoint 1
Agent 3 will start the level with a downward slope. He or she will see a fewOctotroopers and Agent 3 is supposed to splat them. There will be a platform that rotates quickly to reveal an Octotrooper and splat them. Another platform rotates to reveal 3 more of them. After he or she splats the last one, Agent 3 will be given some armor and continue.
Checkpoint 2
The player would continue to reveal some more platforms of Octotroopers that can be used as stepping stones after splatted. He or she will find 2 crates with Power Eggs and a canned special with a Trizooka. When the player enters the room, a few more platforms rotate with even more Octotroopers. The player can either splat them manually (leaving him or her vulnerable) or use the Trizooka by pressing to defeat them.
