Soak It to Me! is the 18th level in Splatoon 3's story mode, Return of the Mammalians.
Description
To get to the goal, the player must use soaker blocks.
Access
To get to the level, the player has to climb a few towers, eventually reaching the second-highest tower where the level is. The player has to clear Fuzzy Ooze along the way.
Walkthrough
Note: Due to the level having no fee, you may retry from checkpoints as many times as you want, even if you lose all your lives.
Landing
The level begins with two crates and the newly introduced soaker block. Agent 3 has to hit the soaker block to make it extend and then climb up it. They have to hit another soaker block to cross a path to the next section. Below the bridge is a few crates containing Power Eggs. The next section contains a large area with a few pillars. Both of these pillars lead Agent 3 to hit the soaker blocks and get to a crate. When the player advances, a soaker block is there next to an enemy Sprinkler. The Sprinkler has to be broken and the soaker block hit for the player to climb. It leads to the next checkpoint.
Checkpoint 2
The player will find two Octotroopers. The player has to defeat both of them. When the player walks past, they have to hit a soaker block to act as a wall to defend themselves from the Octosniper. Before the Octosniper part, the Octotrooper has to be defeated. There is an optional route to cross a bridge formed from a soaker block to get a Power Egg pack. After the player defeats the Octosniper, the player will advance to the next checkpoint.
Checkpoint 3
The player would see a couple of soaker blocks and is able to form a bridge between them. Between the bridge, they can climb a soaker block to find a key on the left and a Power Egg pack on the right. The player can use the key to unlock a vault, which contains a soaker block to lead to the final checkpoint.
Checkpoint 4
The player turns right to find an army of Octotroopers. The player could use a soaker block to take guard. When the player has defeated the Octotroopers, they would encounter an Octosniper. The soaker block can use some guard as it extends and acts like a wall. The Octosniper has to be destroyed along with the Sprinkler to clear the wall. If the player is fast, they can get to a Power Egg pack. Once they cross the wall, they can use the soaker block to quickly swim and get Power Eggs along the way. Once they cross, the player reaches the goal.
