They Said We'd Have Flying Cars, and We Do! Kinda! is the 25th level in Splatoon 3's story mode, Return of the Mammalians.
Access
Start from the Site 2 pipe. From there, walk forward past the kettle for Climbing the Corporate Splatter, and the player will find a large frozen lake. Near the center of that lake will be a large amount snow and ice. The kettle for the stage will be on top.
Walkthrough
The player must dodge a row of Octomissiles, then a row of Octozeppelins. They then have to climb up a wall, where they are faced with another row of Octozeppelins, but this time there is no ground under them, and an Octotrooper on the other side. After that, there is a checkpoint and a large tower. The player must go to the right to a ramp with another Octotrooper on it. Then there is another ramp, this time much thinner, with a gap they have to jump over. After this gap is crossed, there is a path forward and a raised area with an Octotrooper on it. Either way leads to the platform with the goal, but the player cannot access it as the goal is on a raised uninkable platform. They must proceed to a long path that ends abruptly and use it to ride on an Octozeppelin and evade the Octomissiles that fly the opposite direction to the Octozeppelin, before jumping off to another tower. Similar to the other tower, the player can choose to climb up several walls as a shortcut, or they can walk up the ramp. Both methods lead to Octotroopers. There is another Octozeppelin the player must ride, and there are more Octomissiles. The Octozeppelin will pass over the goal, and the player must jump down at the right time.
Description
The player must traverse a level filled with Octomissiles and Octozeppelins to reach the goal.
