Quotes
Splatoon
“ | The Firefin logo, a stylized blowfish, has long been a favorite of squid-hop set and anyone else who likes to keep it 100. Fans dig the loose fit and laid-back vibe that has become Firefin signature. Did you know that Firefin fans are up to ten times more likely to take selfies in front of graffiti while gazing into the distance? | ” |
Splatoon 3
“ | Squid Research Lab Fashion Desk intern on deck! Have you stared into the angry eyes of the FishFry? Then you're already familiar with Firefin, the brand for the streets, by the streets. Feel gritty - look fresh. Like diving into the ocean after getting sand in your shorts. | ” |

Trivia
- Firefin stickers can be seen plastered around Inkopolis Plaza, various stages, and Octo Valley.
- It seems that the character featured in Firefin's logo is nicknamed "FishFry". This name is often featured in the names of gear that depicts the character, such as the White 8-Bit FishFry.
- A Firefin sticker can be seen on the Splash Screen.
- In Splatoon 2, a 3D Firefin logo can be seen at the end of the barrel of the Firefin Splat Charger and Firefin Splatterscope.
- In Splatoon, there is no Firefin gear that has Bomb Sniffer, Comeback, Damage Up, Ink Resistance Up, Ink Saver (Sub), Opening Gambit, Quick Super Jump, Run Speed Up, Stealth Jump or Tenacity as a primary ability.
- In Splatoon 2, there is no Firefin gear that has Comeback, Drop Roller, Ink Saver (Sub), Opening Gambit, Stealth Jump, Tenacity or Thermal Ink as a primary ability.
- Firefin appears to be based on Spitfire, a skateboard hardware company that also makes apparel, due to the name and similar-in-concept logos.
- In Splatoon 2, only shoes that Firefin make have a two-star rarity.
- In Splatoon 3, Firefin and Zekko are the only brands not to receive any new gear at launch, likely due to the introduction of their collaboration brand, Z+F, in the same game.
